I can respect anyone's beliefs. I can respect anyone who endeavors to become a person. I will require that they respect mine as much, if not I will have to defend my faith. Jim

i'm with you... reading the Jewish interpretation/translation of the scriptures is what ultimately made me do not ignore that Jesus ought to no longer were the Messiah. The Jews only have a more desirable ideal argument. i imagine the concern is that maximum Christians fairly belive that the Jewish ideals are the exact same as they were taught about the OT. they don't realize Christians replaced it somewhat, interpreted and translated it otherwise. there is not any longer some thing in the Tenakh about a virgin delivery, about a 2d coming, or about eternal damnation & torment. they have self belief there is, because they have actually been taught the Christianized version. they imagine the Jews go by using a similar version... for sure no longer.

Unfortuntately not every one wishes to look into other religions for fear of compromising their own. But learning about one another is crucial to survival, so yes people should learn about the Muslim religion in order to gain a better perspective than the one thats being posted on the media.

i hope so, i really hope so
what really hurts me more is that, whenever we (Muslims) become closer to other religions, like being nice n stuff like that, many non-muslims say that its fake and that we hate them, some of them even think we're being nice to drag them to Islam, which is so untrue.
Islam tells us to treat everybody alike, and never start any violence, its a very peaceful religion.
i wish jews and christians understand that we are not violent and that we are like anybody else, we only hate people who harm us thats all, we're all humans.
ok we all have disagreements about eachother religions but that doesnt mean we should hate one another, everybody should only stick to what they believe in, and accept others as they are.
ur right we should all learn about other religions and we should expect to find that some stuff are just nonsense, but this is not an excuse to hate eachother.
at the end, we all believe in God, one God, and he would never order us to harm eachother.

i respect Islam and i have compromised nothing. as Christians we should look at our own faith and fix what is wrong there before we point fingers at others for their beliefs.

Yes, I will respect anyone's right to believe whatever they want to believe (key word: RIGHT), but it doesn't mean that I'll agree with it or accept it. People have the freedom to believe whatever they wish, and it is that freedom that I respect, but it doesn't mean that I will agree with or accept a particular belief.
