I've seen several christians here claim that documents such as Jesus' birth certificate exists, tax records, and Pilate's death decree.

Would one of you please direct me to a web site where I can view them and read the provenance about them?

Thanks in advance!

Whomever told you those things exist was either lying or has been misled themselves.

'Ya, I've got Jesus birth certificate! It'll only cost you $20 to see it...'

Jewish genealogical records were destroyed along with Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 CE. That would include anything resembling a 'birth certificate' for Jesus. Destruction of those records was another indication of God's rejection of the nation as his chosen people, as since then no Jew can claim to come from the line of David, which is a Biblical requirement for the messiah, which they're still waiting for.

When you have the Bible in your hand, that is the account of HIS BIRTH. It also gives his geneology all the way back to David who was the son of Abraham Matthew 1 :1 -17

In Luke 2: 1 - 7 gives the account of Mary and Joseph going to Bethlhem to be taxed and while they were there Mary gave birth to Jesus.

i doubt that they have a birth certificate, and baptism was not in practice at the time of his birth, you might try reading the writings of Josephus, it is in book form, and he was a secular historian at the time of Jesus Christ.

i haven't heard of anything like that, but i know that there was some documentation of him other than in the bible. we know that there was a man named jesus who was crucified. that is 100% true. whether or not he was the sun of god is the question.
