Hey. I am american, and have learned Latin and German in the past year. Right now i take AP latin in school (we are reading the Aeneid by Vergil) and from the same teacher i take German. I plan on liveing in Germany for a year or two between high school and college, so I will become fluent in that then.

After german, i plan on learning more spanish. I know a little already simply because my father is fluent in it, but mostly i can only understand it; however my pronunciation is actually pretty good. So i can technically speak it, I just don't always know what i am saying.

I'm from Poland and speak Polish (obviously), English, German, Russian, Latin and Spanish. I wouldn't feel very comfortable reading books in the last one yet as I've been learning it only for a bit over a year. When I reach the level when there will be no risk of my subconscious borrowing words from latin and giving them a different ending when I don't know the Spanish word and it won't take me and hour to udnerstand ten pages of text I'll probably start learning French.

I speak Spanish, French (both learned in school), Russian and Polish (both learned at home). I'm not quite as fluent in French and Russian as I am with Spanish and Polish, but I know enough to get by when I travel. I'm from the US and have lived here my entire life.
