Ususally it's hard to find unless you are a restaurant but, you can but it on line and the shelf life is good, so a large quantity is not a problem. I like this 'cause it has a lot of uses.

When at the grocery store, you can find Kraft powdered cheese in the refrigerated section along with the other cheeses. It should be next to the Parmesean cheese. Kraft makes their own cheese for people who want extra cheese for thier mac and cheese, it is also great on popcorn. I hope that this helps. Good luck.

I've never seen it, but here are a few ideas about where to look for it in your supermarket. I know it's probably available though, because Wendy's uses it to make cheese sauce for fries and baked potatoes.
Do you know where the spices are? They have dry powder packets of gravies and sauces nearby there. See if they have any for a cheese sauce.
Another idea is go to where the Velveeta is, and see if there's anything near there. Velveeta isn't with the other cheese usually. It's usually near the pasta and spaghetti sauces.
A long-shot idea is to check the Mexican section.

You can buy bulk powdered cheese online from many sources. But if all you're after is a good nacho sauce (not canned), why not use velveeta? I melt velveeta cheese with salsa and jalapenos. it's delicious and simple!
But, if you insist on powder, here ya go...

I have bought this product before. It's the closest to Kraft that I've found.
Good Luck!

A lot of bulk food stores carry a couple kinds of powdered cheese. Not stores that just have a bulk food section, but stores that are ALL bulk foods.
Also, you can just go to Gordon Food Store and buy a huge can of already made Nacho cheese. It's good and fairly cheap and ready to heat and serve. Plus they have big bags of nacho chips and pretty much all the toppings.

Look in the gravy section where they have the powdered gravies. They often have various cheese sauces, too.
