Us catholics were born to follow God not forced. If you do not believe in Jesus or God then why tell us it's crap if you can just tell us you respect it but don't believe it?
If you rate this bad, what is the wrong I said? This is what I always see when someone answers a question about Christian Belief. And you say I'm offending you now, what about us?
I respect Muslims, Jews, Buddhists and everyone else but why don't you? Tell me why you have to insult us and manipulate us if all we did was have faith.
Please explain why insulting our belief is what makes you right? Tell me why saying we waste our time is what makes you superior in knowing the truth.
(I'm not saying everyone but those who are saying it's crap and nonsense...)

When disrespecting us disrespects God and when we defend him, we defend our religion. This is what I meant!

Have you noticed that I asked this because I don't like it when they say we waste our time. I just wanna here why they have to do it in the first place. I'm a catholic, I have a right to know the reason!
You can't say I'm disrespecting other religions related to christianity or not because I DO! They have the right to choose their destiny and when I choose the destiny with God, other people suddenly think I'm taking the wrong road. Why can't non-catholics understand our decision? I need an explanation why they have to feel the right to offend our faith?

Roman Catholics is related to Christianity and we do NOT kneel down to figurines of other Gods. That is Idolatry and don't you think we know it's wrong? Get your sources RIGHT!!! Roman catholicism is the SAME as any other Christian belief.
Christian = Catholic but in different terms

No need to defend God. Defend your right to believe what you want.
Don't be offended on comments about the rom. cath. past like crusades. There was no other christian church at the time of the crusades. Europe was either pagan or catholic.the Christians were fighting to get back the land which was lost to the Muslims. They wanted the holy land back. It was wrong to fight in the name of God.
Just because someone belongs to another church other than rom. cath. or is atheist does not mean his roots are different. even many Muslim country's have Christian ancestors.
At the time of the witch burnings in Europe all Christian churches were involved. There are pedophile Men not just in the Catholic Church.
I don't follow the cath. church but most ppl in my country do. I see how much the Catholics are doing in helping all over the world. Building schools, hospitals, orphanages, doing street work in India, Africa, south America in many muslim country's even under threat of their life.

The change is that Catholics for essentially the most facet don't seem to be judgmental of different peoples devout ideals. So in case you a pagan and your comfortable approximately that than well for you, in case your an Atheist and your comfortable approximately that well for you. If you do not suppose in God, there may be not anything I can do to difference that so why hassle. Now in case you insult my devout ideals with incorrect information or lies I will look after them to the satisfactory of my talents being a Catholic. On the opposite hand I spotted the Evangelicals are simply nasty regularly due to the fact watching at their faith from an older faith's factor of view they do not have any old credibility so they're intimidated allot less complicated right into a response in relation to their possess devout ideals. I additionally spotted they prefer to insult others due to the fact in their devout ideals. But I keep in mind this as a safeguard for his or her lack of confidence related to their devout ideals, like I stated earlier than they've no old credibility. There are even Catholics which could in go back forget about what Evangelicals say approximately Catholics due to the fact of this reality.

Keep your faith to yourself and you will have no trouble. Ask people if you can tell them about your faith and be prepared to accept no for an answer and you will have no problem
It is not God who is under attack or has to be defended but extreme religious zealots.
About 99% of Catholics are raised as catholics and indoctrinated from the time they open their eyes for the first time. Just look at the answers from the Christians to many of the questions on YA and you will see the indoctrination present in them from the stock answers they give.
You say you respect others religions then why can you not respect the atheists right to live in peace?
So it is not your belief that is being insulted but the Christians who are insulting our lives and our right to live and believe as we wish.

They think we worship idols but I've been to other religions and I hate it. I came back to my answer and saw 1 negative and 1 positive. I'll elaborate a little more.I'm not saying that were better. What I'm saying is this and I won't mention any specific denomination . What I'm saying about I hate it is because I've seen people in churches of other religions. after a huge sermon go up to the front fall on there knees and start crying for forgiveness but yet don't have the time of day for you once you walk out of the church or the time when I was going to college and trying to get a part time job to help myself out. Some one mention to me that this particular guy was an electrician and may be he would give some work. I wanted to be an electrician, this was a fellow ship meeting where the church cooked meals, a few times of the month, on Sunday morning. The guy saw that he was pointed out and never approached me or even acknowledged me. Here he was stuffing his face calling him self (I'm assuming) a christian, but yet couldn't help out a fellow human being who was struggling. I never did ask him if I could start an aprenticeship through him,why bother when he wouldn't register me. It would have been different if he came to me and said sorry I barely have enough work to get my self through the month. Some one told to look at the idols like this in the olden days they didn't have cameras to take pictures, so what they did was make statues depicting events that happened in history. It would be different if we were worshipping idols, like the golden cow or what ever statue we were to worship. Then I'd understand why we would be hated. I realized how much catholics were hated when some one from a catholic and a protestant were maried. They wanted to go on a holiday and they decided to bring the kids to the catholic parents to watch them. The protestants were so against it that they went over and fire bomb the house both kids died in the fire. Hope fully they died in the smoke and not the flames. Can you believe there's so much hatred if you don't belong to there religion that in the name of God we will kill.I'm a really opened minded person and before I make any judgement on anything I'll give it a try but after what I saw in other churches, I think I'll stay catholic. I see more generosity in catholic churches that any other denomination, may be I'm wrong but hey I'd rather go to a church that doesn't expect you to be more than what you are, were only humans and we all fall short of what God wants ,I'm no exception . Any ways I've meet to many Christians who just can't shut up about God or if you have a problem they'll say, believe in God follow Jesus and he'll solve all your problems.True to a great degree but some times in life you have to look else where for answeres. What ever religion you want to call your self, in the end I think it's more important to be spirituall than Christian Catholic or Protestant but I still go to my Catholic church once in a while. Some months more than other months but I hope God forgives me for some of the things I've done in life I just didn;t understand.

I have respect, and never insult anyone. I do try to logically show people that Christianity, and all religion is a farce, and why? Do you consider that disrespectful? I try to show facts, and try never to eject any personal emotions into it. Does that insult you? By the way, I DO believe in God.

mam i am not Catholic but Christian.i understand what you mean. people don't like to have their comfort zone messed with. Christians are Just as bad i have found. i posted some Q's that people responded negatively to. mostly because most Christians don't like their beliefs questioned and don't want to believe they ma not be serving God as well as they think. as Christians we should recognize we don't know everything and that other Christians might be able to teach us something. but it doesn't work that way.

Having been born and raised Catholic myself, I know that some people leave the religion frustrated and angry because the concepts and doctrine don't always make sense to everybody and they don't know how to conduct themselves with kindness. As a Buddhist, now, I've found that logical path of thought that answers my questions and affirms my lack of belief in a creator god, but I deeply respect those who choose to believe in such a deity.
Ignorant people ("ignorance", as "not knowing", not as an insult) tend to react and speak without thinking about the painful consequences of their actions/speech. I've found great peace in learning how to not let people push your buttons, so to speak. May you find that peace as well.
If you're comfortable and affirmed in your belief and Catholicism works for you then don't allow anybody to rattle you, even in debate.

Because you are blindly following the most horrid cult that has ever existed. The Catholic church has treated women like trash, during WW2 they turned a blind eye to the Jews in the death camps, tortured and killed non catholics by the hundreds of thousands, will not allow the use of condoms in Africa to stop the spread of aids, and the list could go on forever. I sure hope that helps to answer your question.

I've asked myself that many times.
American cult members seem to feel the need to "rundown" the true faith in an attempt to reinforce their own choices.
When "religion shopping" as a young man, I shopped many religions before choosing Catholisism as my own.
I found that Jesus gave the responsibility to start the true church to his bud and confidant Peter. Peter in turn starting the Catholic church. If someone can't live by the rules of the true church, they run out and start their own, changing the rules to suit their own perversions.
In America, churches are like blue jeans. People change them to suit their whims and defend them like highschool kids do their football teams.
No one likes to have their choices proved to be wrong so they go on the attack mode.
So, in my humble opinion.... if you ain't Catholic you ain't (wait a minute, this is what got my last account suspended).
So, in my humble opinion... If you ain't Catholic, your just a cult member.

According to your scriptures, your faith is _supposed_ to be tested, sweetie, so this whining is really most inappropriate.
Did someone tell you "faith is all you need"? Seems that wasn't true. People are going to disagree with you and they're not always going to be nice in letting you know it. And since there's no law forbidding insults of stupid beliefs held by nice people, you're going to encounter more of this. Grow a thicker skin and deal with it.
