No way. XX running has hills and different levels of terrian, as well as the level of cushioning you get from different surfaces. Treadmill running dosen't do much for your quads. If that's all you do, you will hurt a lot after the first few times of outdoor xx running.

It is not "equivalent" but it allow one to run in all weather conditions and in all hours of the day or nite without leaving home. You are important and being in good physical shape is an important factor of your health. Have a great weekend.

yes if you run hard enough and long enough..but the out door air thing will be missing.
