Faith is a gift from God, and we learn to see our world and all others in it through the eyes of faith. A mental block prevents the Holy Spirit from working through us to show forth the Glory of God. God love you!

Having faith is believing in something beyond a serious doubt. Having a mental block is an inability to compromise. There is no such thing as a stupid question does not apply in your case.

I do not find it causes a mental block to believe that there is a higher power. I consider all possibilities in life before I see it as something from a higher power. I do not consider anyone else's viewpoint as invalid...that is called respect for one another. My intellect is open and functioning, thank you very much.
