we can download as many wallpapers as possible but we can have only one as the wallpaper at a time

Yes. You can have as many as you want. You can go into the control panel-->Display--->Display Properties (or just right click an open area of your desktop and choose properties) and use the browse function to find them.
Try DigitalBlasphemy.com for some really cool paper or just use Google. There are tons of different wallpaper on the net. You can also use pictures from a digital camera or scanner.
