Tyrosine is a very important aminoacid for brain function. As well as others. it is common that vegetarians have protein and aminoaci deficiency. Humans Can't produce all aminoacid, they must consume, and meat is an abundant well balanced source of them. As well as iron, which is also very important for brain function.
Vegetarians have to be very carefull not to have nutritional deficiencies, they have to have a very well studied diet. The deficiencies asociated with vegetarianism are not very evident, so people may think they're fine, but in reality, the body is strugling to keep balance.
Meat is not bad for you, that's a big a.. mith. But if you're a vegetarian out of moral grounds, be sure to consult a very good nutritionist, one that specialices in vegan diet (as opposed to a vegan nazy, that will tell you that you're fine consuming only organicall vegetables and that's that).
Soy is the only vegtable that provides all esential aminoacids, but not in the proportions the human (or mammal) body needs them. It is very important that you find someone that will asisst you desingn a truly complete diet. If this person doesn't warn you that vegan diet is of much care, be suspicious....
Soy taste's like Cr... BTW

I know of many who prior to a test, attest to drinking a smoothie using a blender and consisting of 8oz, of fresh squeezed orange juice, one large chopped up frozen banana, and a heaping table spoon of peanut butter with a shot if Ginko Biloba supplement.

That combo makes for great brain fuel.

Eating a wholemeal with all nutrition elements (carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals, vitamins, etc) is the best thing for your mentality and your body.

Don't be fooled by those who claim vegetarianism is best or eating a lot is better, etc. I would also advise you to abstain from pork and alcoholic beverages. Also quit smoking if you're a smoker.
