I feel hella sexy wearing them!! They stay tight against my calf (i love my calves!!) and i always pair them with my just above knee length black skirt, and a nice top...you still look professtional, but HOT!! and i have the greatest square frame glasses, i put that outfit on to go to work and i have to beat my boyfriend away...So, yes, i feel sexy wearing my boots!

I don't think it's awkward... but the image of leather gloves in winter is the hands looking even more feminine than they normally do. Does that help any? Maybe you're attracted to how feminine the hands look. I can't explain i though.
