do you drink though the foam? or stir it?
what if i want to add sugar?

thru the foam. and just drop the sugar thru the foam and stir it for a bitthe foam shouldnt dissappear its nice eating it with a spoon or ur finger at the end

The sugar will fall gently through the foam then you carefully stir it and sip away. The foam is pretty dense so it will stand up to some light aggitation.

The funny answer is through the mouth! Not funny really.
What I try to do is get the barrista - or if your making it yourself, add the sugar to the mug/cup before the coffee goes in. Then stir it to mix, and then add the frothy milk.
If your out and about and they won't add the sugar before the coffee find somewhere that will.
Mondo cafe in Exeter will do it like this.
