Say you wanted Collingwood's percentage, and they beat Melbourne the week before. The scores were 120-85. You then divide Collingwood's score by their oppositions, 120 divided by 85 = 1.411.... You then multiply the answer by 100 (1.411 x 100 = 141.1%) Also, on the ladder you will notice that there is a Points For collumn, and a Points Against collumn. These collumns display the total amount of points scored for and against throughout the whole season. After the completion of each round, the points for collumn is divided by the points against collumn to give the percentage.
