I am a 24 yr old guy who isn't married because I haven't achieved financial security yet. I am thinking about getting married around 30-32.
What is the ideal (average?) age to get married for American males?
Is 30-32 not late?

30-32 is not too late. In fact, that's a good age for a man to marry and when he meets the right woman. HOWEVER... you also have to consider that you have to be financially, and emotionally ready for a big step in life. A man can have both attributes at an earlier age and be ready for marriage.

It really depends on the man.

There is no "ideal" age to get married, for a guy or a girl. It will happen when it happens! To rush into marriage just because you think its time, is a wrong reason to get married!

Good for you, for waiting to achieve financial security! You will get married when you are ready, you'll know it!

30-32 is average(ish) I think these days... since people are living longer and doing more in their lives, they aren't in a rush any more to get married and settle down with families!

Great idea.
However you are not average so don't care about those average ages. You are a man who has much to offer.

Bye the way, no one ever reaches financial security, just think of "The Donald" he's always buying something new.

It should be a woman who has something to add to your life. Love, honesty, similar values, and she needs to be someone who you can't live without, not just someone to live with.

GOD bless, and you're definitely a keeper!

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. The average age of marriage now is I think 28 or 29, and it keeps increasing as people wait until they are secure in their careers and finances. Good for you!

i trust that it may nicely be equivalent!!! besides the indisputable fact that it ought to sem like extra women human beings do rule the roost besides the indisputable fact that that's because of equivalent rights. women human beings can talk & can rule the roost. Who knows because what number women human beings seem as if they rule the roost that actual are in some kind of abusive courting In public it ought to seem as if hat yet in the back of closed doors it ought to o.k. be the different. you recognize what I recommend. yet in the experience that they do that is by way of the equivalent rights change. women human beings can and do in many circumstances make as a lot money if no extra.

never too late. but if you find the right person then why wait? you don't have to be rich to be married. i hear that most couples fight about money more than anything else. but you can't take money with you when you die. so who cares if you are loaded or not. just use good common sense when it comes to finances. to answer your question i married my husband when he was 23.

who cares about age,... i think its more of when you find someone that yuo want to marry and wants to marry you,...

Getting engaged obviously being the first step,. and if thats off and running and they are understanding of not wanting to get married until you guys are in better financial standing,.. then your okay.

But I would never let my age dictate when I decide to actually get married
