You become completely devoted to God. You do what the other religions do occasionally to show devotion to God every second of everyday. You live every moment of your life for God.

I considered it alot when I was growing up, it was like a calling for me and I still wish I would have.

This is an interesting question.I dont know how serious you are but I can put you in the right direction. Assuming you meant Buddhist Monk, I would first like you to spend a few days in a monastery as a lay person , to understand how it feels to be in a monastery. This can be arranged free of charge. there is a monastery in Hemel Hampstead called Amaravati. There are monks there and they let you stay with them for a few days. You will not have to pay for this stayor for the food but you may have to help out with cooking cleaning etc. It would be a great experience as this place is a beautiful massive monastery with a big garden. You can contact me if you need more info
