I have downloaded the software from limewire.com but when I double click on the desktop icon nothing happens. HELP!

Well first of all Lime wire is full of spy ware,virus etc .Get Ares it is fast,free,easy And works so much better than limewire.You can also download movies,games,software,music,screensavers etc

If I was you I would stay away from limewire, it is one of the worst programs to get off your computer, and the best for downloading viruses, It is a pc 2 pc program, And you don't really know what your downloading The install puts files all over your hard drive, it dose not uninstall as it should, Be it on your head you have been warned

You might of downloaded a corrupt file. Make sure your not downloading from mirror sites. Also, after downloading, reboot your computer and have a program called Java installed before starting the limeware installation..

LimeWire need the Java Runtime installed on your machine to work as it's coded in Java, maybe you don't have that? It's a free download from here so try installing that:
