Get some of that Aid to Mother's with Dependamt Children. Also five kids without a father in the house is bad. What happened and can you make the judge make the father's pay?? Go to social services for job training and they help with getting you a job and a way to get there. Thank you for wanting to make positive changes and we will support you here with our ideas. Good luck.

why are you not on some kind of welfare? i don't want to sound like a bi!** here, but why are you worried about it now? your a week away from Christmas. you need to stop feeling sorry for your self. i to was in your situation at one time, but i new i had to get off my butt and do something. and yes at first i had to go on welfare, but while your on those programs they will help you find child care so that you can seek employment. once you have a job, they might even help you with getting a car, they did for me. sure you may have to walk for a while. or you could also try opening a day care in your own house. call child care council and ask them how. again, STOP FEELING SORRY FOR YOUR SELF!!!

Where is the dad of these kids????????? Can't he help? He has obligations to those children. If you have 5 kids, aren't any of them old enough to help watch while you look for work? Can't you look for work while they are in school?
Have you tried the army? Have you tried going to your local library and looking for work on the Internet? Have you tried welfare?
I'm sure there is help out there. You just need to make a few calls and ditch the victim mode.
Good luck
