what does the number mean on the bottom of my Le Creuset fry pan?

Underside has "Le Creuset"
"France"
"30"
stamped into enamel finish. Mine is at least 30 yrs old now but I never could find out what the number might indicate

That # you got there is there 30Edith style.

It most likely means that it is 30cm in diameter, since that is how they size their cookware.
