There are many video yoga programs and guides widely available that you can use at home if you have a DVD player or VCR. Check at your local WalMart or K-Mart, etc. You may find others at book stores, health food stores, etc. Good luck!

I've got a couple of DVD's from Gaiam by Rodney Yee. I think they are pretty simple to start with and gives you a taste of what yoga is about. Gaiam makes books too. I realize that I have no balance!

They are pretty well made and have nice backgrounds. You can get them anywhere; Amazon, Wally-Mart, etc.

I would buy some dvds...If you have a mirror to practice in front of that would be great. Some of the poses are strange and unless you can compare your position to that of the instructor (and have no instructor to correct you) you could get seriously injured.

i don't know if you learn better with one on one teaching, but there are books, websites, and even dvds at walmart or whatever that you can buy that im sure will give you the same effect. dvds are probably your best bet.
