I think of it differently than most, I always look at the facts first.
#1- Scientist say that for just one type of life to begin is a billion to one odds. This planet has 10s of thousands of different species of life. Go ahead and look on line for those facts, challenge your self.
#2- Because of #1 I understand then that life on this world had to be a design, reason one- each animal, insects and plant life are in the majority of one depending on the other and reason two- we are dependent on all of these, in other words we wouldn't exist without the others.
#3- As I see it #1 and #2 are of design which means creation so we must have a creator or as he or she has been named, GOD.

God is a spirit.. He is Love! He is the author and finisher of life, the Ancient of Days, the Eternal One and so much more!

Here is a description of his throne, if you'd care to catch a glimpse of His glory.... paraphrased from Revelation chapter 4:

After this I (John) looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He that sat was to look upon like the gleaming of precious gem stones: and there was rainbow light round about the throne, shining like an emerald.

And round about the throne were twenty-four seats: and upon the seats I saw twenty-four ancients sitting, clothed in white flowing robes; and they each wore on their head a crown of gold. And from the throne came lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven Lamps of Fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

And before the throne there was a crystal-like sea of glass: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four creatures full of eyes in front and in back. And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face as a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle.

And the four creatures each had six wings; and they were full of eyes within: and they do not rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him that sat on the throne, who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four ancients fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship Him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for You have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created".

God is the creator of all things visible and invisible. He is not a part of His creation, but is omnipresent (present everywhere) and omnipotent (all-powerful) and omniscient (all-knowing).

The Cosmos is god.

Its laws are god.

Everything is god.

Everyone is god: "I and my Father are one. Then they took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you from my Father; for which of these do you stone me? They answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself God. Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your law: I said 'you are gods?" - John 10:30-34, Jesus quoting Psalm 82:6 to defend his teaching that "God" dwells within everyone.

He is our creator, and I know this for a fact. He formed us humans in his image so he could have a relationship with us. That is why we pray today, to converse with our God.
