Why don't Democrats and Republicans work together on the issue that is vital to the security of our country? Too much partisan crap going on to get the job done for the American people! Why isn't there any Dems or Repubs who are willing to forget the blaming and name calling long enough to accomplish a goal like getting the illegal problem under control? What do they think we elect them for? Do they even care about the already loaded down citizen? I am really angry with these guys! Where are the candidates that are for getting something done with more than just lipservice? Please name one candidate who has a strong anti illegal stand? Are there any?

I am just a high school graduate ,trying to support my family ,I am to busy to get involved in politics, and I think that is why alot of Americans dont realize what is happening to our country,we just assume our politcians are doing their jobs.It has just been recently that I have tried to get involved, because I am scared to see what the future will be like for my kids at the rate things are going.I have done alot of reading on the illegal cituation, and talked to alot of people and although people are against illegals being here, most are not willing to get involved. I did join a new yahoogroup, and have gotten some ideas, but like you, sadly when I write to congress, nothing seems to change. If you would like to join our group and share ideas, that would be great! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AmericanCitizensAgainstPro-illegals/ thanks

Texas just made the news over the raid on a Swift Co. packing plant raided by the border patrol. Its happening, just slowly. The Democrats cheered and gloated over winning control of Congress(supposedly), but still have no better idea than the one set forth by the GOP.

Because that would make too much sense. (Common Sense is not a human condition). I think the biggest error our political system has made, is to divide the parties. It's like dividing a country. We originally started out as one, then it became the Federalists against the anti-federalists...Parties make sure that no one can have their own personal opinion, it is all about us and them...

The really good ones get a comfy job. Check out J.C. Watts. He should have been president.

To answer your question, consider two things.... human nature and giant egos.

eliminating political activities likely received't do any sturdy in that one social gathering rule may little doubt be disastrous, turning out to be a favor for an aspect. And being on an aspect isn't a nasty element in case you keep in mind that dropping is area of lifestyles. Your question rather is going to the midsection of what's taking position contained in the US politically. it extremely is; we are merely ignorant about who our elected officials are or what they're meant to do. no longer to point the record that we could continuously stand by technique of continuously. At this aspect in my lifestyles i do not rather interact with each person on the topic of politics till they could answer one basic question: did you recognize who your State Senator is? And no i do no longer make it an embarrassing question, rather merely hint round about it and in the adventure that they do no longer have a clue they're no diverse to me than speaking with a block wall. My reasoning is undemanding; in the adventure that they do no longer recognize how those flesh presser get to the position they're, they're likely merely voting on a wedge difficulty which politicians are experts at using abode. Or in case you recognize their call they have an more desirable threat contained in the ballet field, they recognize if you're adverse to gun administration they could get your vote for that reason. in spite of the undeniable fact that, in case you pin them down on economic responsibility or their responsibility to the parts they develop into rather philosophical and fully incoherent, at the same time as dribbling out an answer which will push your interest span away because they believe the voters are stupid...as a lot as this aspect in my adventure we are! could we glance on the activities as a downfall to American politics: likely doesn't count, till the voter wises up about entertainers telling them what's precise and incorrect about Washington or who the sturdy adult men and undesirable adult men are, we are stuck with a psychological sickness pronounced as: The voter.
