I seriously hope you are joking or trying to get a reaction out of the answerer's here. As you are just going to get a long list of that is despicable that you are taking advantage of a social programs, costing the tax payers money. All around abusing the system. The fun this is that if you get caught you can be held liable for all the money the government has shelled out to you.

Working UNDER the table... robs you of lots of stuff.

First, you don't have a PAPER TRAIL to prove income - to qualify for loans and such... and also... it prohibits you from participating in programs where you are visible to the government.

Like health care, like 401 K, like retirement funds, mutual funds.

Uncle Same takes 2/3s of what I make. (no kidding) - but when you make the kind of money I do - you can't do it "on the sly".

The people paying me - need to show where their money is going.

I suspect you're talking only a few hundred dollars a week.

If you have opted out of the mainstream, then you should have no benefits associated with the mainstream. Paying taxes gives you the right to certain services, and if you're not paying you don't deserve to be playing.

Being that we have to guess at what you are asking, I would say no. Assuming that you are talking about a gov't benefit like social security, you must actually put into get out! Sound fair? Get a real job, pay your share & stop burdening your taxpayers & us who have to read about your proudly illegal activities.

How do you see this as any different from theft?

(I assume you don't agree that theft is acceptable)
