Illegal criminal invading aliens are "vehementhly" opposed!
Your question intentionally distorts the facts which gives its basis that of a lie.
Immigration quotas favor hispanic applications 8 to 2 over every other ethnic group...Now that is unfair!
Migrants (like the Pilgrims) came to a land and changed it and made it their own. Those that followed assimilated to that form and were immigrants.
The intent of the migrants of Mexico's state sponsored invasion goal is to pervert America into some form of Amerigo or whatever. If they are allowed to succeed with their invasion, those that follow them and go along with that form will be immigrants.
Those that do not take a stand and attempt to stop them now are in fact giving "aid and comfort to the enemy"...
Which makes YOU what?

There is a system in place for them to come here legally. Millions have used it including most of our ancestors. I have no problem with legal immigrants. It's those who choose to start their life in America by breaking the law I have a problem with.

Your question shows a total lack of knowledge. America is one of the most inclusive and welcoming nations in the world. We have a high rate of legal immigration to those who wish to come here from other countries.
The issue is ILLEGAL immigration, which is a crime. There is a huge cost to this crime:
1. Identity theft
2. The closing of emergency rooms
3. Crime: 27% of the inmates of our prisons are illegals
4. Depression of wages for the American poor
5. Voter fraud
6. National security
In summary, we don't turn away immigrants, we need to turn away Aliens.

OK...please tell everyone here how we are just supposed to let millions of people into our country? It just doesn't make sense. We cannot take everyone. These immigrants could be living next door to you or someone you know.
It is just not as simple as saying "Home of the free! Come on in!"

i think maybe you are a bit confused.....america is not turning away immigrants. They welcome them, in fact look at the numbers they are bringing in with the green card lottery every year.....it is the ILLEGAL immigrants that need to to be turned away. These people have no documentation, not checked for diseases before entering and also lower wages for citizens and legal immigrants...these are just a few problems that illegals create....there are so many more areas to look at--crime, stolen identity, education, etc .......too many to name.
Dearheart--i too went through the process with my husband....it is time consuming, expensive, etc....but i wouldnt have it any other way!! He is from overseas and i am proud to say LEGAL!!!

None of this people are having a problem with it.It is just a great opportunity to bit ch. I live here and I am not having any problem with it. I do not care if they are legal or illegal. Some of them are saying they are living on welfare and free housing. Yet the ones working at the meat plants all had false SS #'s just so they could work.

Have any of you guys actually tried to go thru the immigration process? A lot of people are turned away...even when they try to go thru it legally. The process is long, stressful, time consuming, expensive, complicated, etc....with no certainty if even if you do get a visa that you will even be able to step off the plane and visit/stay here......

People tend to reject WAVES of immigration, ALWAYS regardless if it's legal or illegal. It happened with the Irish and with the Scottish. It's happening right now in England with the Romanians and Polaks. It's happening in Spain with Africans and Arabs. Right here in the U.S. is happening with Latinos. Nobody likes change and this is what immigrants will ALWAYS bring.

Because we have set laws to limit immigration. Would you like ALL poor people throughout the entire world to come to America? If so, can we start by putting some in YOUR house?
