We've been friends for a long time and I want to test the waters without diving in. I think she likes me but I don't want to just bluntly ask her out or how she feels about me. If she rejects me or says "i just want to be friends" I would die!! Plus she is the sister of one of my good friends and would probably hold it against me.

know what? we're in the same situation dude! We're also friends, me & the girl i like..And i'm also afraid to tell her bcoz it would break our friendship, is this how you feel too? (tell me i'm right!) coz you're thinkin' that if you'll not tell her that you like her, you still have her, even as friends (aaaww, so sad)...and you're afraid to tell her bcoz you're afraid of rejection! (tell me i'm right again!)..but believe me, you'll be forced to admit it to her once some other guy would be courting her! (like what happened to me!) well, gud luck dude!
