I think the scoring must have changed from the 1980's...

Anyway, what I did was PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE tests. I got a couple of MCAT study books and went over everything. I got a high score (high enough to qualify me for MENSA), got accepted at several med schools and am now a practicing physician.

I also remember memorizing stupid things, like the square root of two, because we were not allowed to use calculators on the math portion. I don't know if that has changed or not.

I suggest not taking the exam until you feel you are prepared, and you'll know you are prepared when you can breeze through a practice test.

Good luck.

It all is determined by the university of direction, nonetheless 30 is used because the groundwork for buying into scientific university. I could enormously advocate you buy the MSAR (Medical School Admission Requirement) it offers a seem at each scientific university America it is 10-ninety% ranking specifications for each GPA and MCAT as good lots of different knowledge. For ordinary directions nonetheless, under 30 is mainly considered as unacceptable for such a lot scientific colleges (although there were many exceptions) such a lot will opt for 30-31 I realize a few humans who bought 42s, it simply is determined by what university you wish to visit. Under 27 although and you can also wish to recall DO (or a retake)
