thanks to everyone youve been a big help and the humidifer is doing great hes laying right next to it like he knows what im trying to do for him thats until my nephew comes over later then hell hide somewhere

Go to the nearest pet store they sell this ointment (used for ferrets) and it contains eucalyptus which you can rub under their noses to help them breathe better, keep him cozy and feeling loved and watch him constantly if he doesn't get any better you should take him to the vet, cats are sensitive and prone to get respiratory diseases.

Make sure you use a humidifier. Dry air causes all kinds of discomfort, humidified air will speed healing.

Unfortunately cat flu is very nasty. All you can do is leave him in peace and wait for the drugs to start working.
