I'm searching for a quotation that's about how all the annoying yelling and nagging from your parents and teachers are actually good for you. Does anyone have one?

Not really a quote and off the cuff, but here goes: The one's that care about you are the one's that are going to stay on you to do your best; the one's that aren't encouraging you or staying on you to succeed really don't give a damn if you succeed or not, they probably want you to fail to make them look better. Think about it.

DISCIPLINE is the key to successful parenting.

Just in case this question is about you...when someone says they are being nagged, it's usually because they didn't listen to the person the first time.

If your parents are yellers, talk to them about it. They may yell out of frustration because they have to repeat themselves for the same darned things. Are you listening? Are you obedient and respectful? Do you do your chores and homework? It may be annoying to hear your parents and teachers all the time, but it's a two way street. Are you holding up your end of the bargain by doing what you should be doing (homework, cleaning your room, etc)?

A big part of growing up is responsibility for yourself and others. Show that you are responsible, respectful and deserving of a little freedom, and you'll get treated that way.
