my friend used to date this guy. he was just totally amazing to her, they fell in love, and they broke up a while ago. she'll say she's completely over him, but if she goes out for the night and sees him at the bar or wherever, she just starts talking about how she needs him back in her life. and this guy is not someone who she needs in her life. and she can't just go other places he won't be, because she always just sees him randomly walking through the city or at a bar. please give me your advice. it will be very good for her if she could just move on. what do you think?

HELLO!
Find some one else better.
To break a bad habit you replace it with a new habit. So find her a new guy she can fall in love with.

I don't think there's really a 'way' to fall out of love with someone. It just takes time. It might help her to take up a new hobby or go out to some different places, but he's going to be on her mind at times no matter what. The best thing would be to just talk to her about it; tell her how the situation looks to you from the outside. She might not realize what she's doing.

Help guide her in the direction of another guy. Find someone for her that you think might be interested in her and Say things to her like "Oh he said what you said was so cute", or "wow I've never seen him act like that around a girl before"

She'll be over that other guy in no time.

well, it doesn`t work like that! it`s normal that she be effected by seeing him, love doesn`t just go away like that. u could try changing the subject, get her mind off it, when she starts talking about him, but i doubt it will work. she needs to deal with this in her own time. obviously she isn`t over him yet and unless she is ready to get over him, there`s nothing anybody can to to help her. u could try to get her to start seeing other ppl, maybe she`ll like one of them and forget about this guy, but again, unless she wants to, she`s either not gonna go out at all with anybody else, or even if she does, she`ll find smth wrong with everybody.....i think the best u can do at this stage is just to be there for her, show her u r beside her and that she has your full support, whatever choice she makes

Some times you never do because you build them up in your mind so much, that you think there perfect. you can change you mind, when you find another one of a kind. there's nothing like a new love to forget an old love.

it would be very good for her to hear the good man out perhaps there is more than what meats the eye. Like perhaps how you were cheating on him and you knew he would never find out. I see through the fakes biatch
