Every day I am able to sleep in (namely, weekends), I cant. But when I have to get up during the week, it's so easy to sleep in. Why is this?

Probably cause you're not supposed to during the week..do you have school or work? But weekends are YOUR TIME & you wanna squeeze every last second out of it.

During the week you subconsciously experience anxiety because you know that you have things to do and obligation that interfere with restful sleep thereby rendering you more tired in the morning. By the end of the week you realize that you are going to have some free time and therefore rest easier with more energy at the waking hour. It's the TGIF syndrome.

During the week you know you HAVE TO get up, but you rather sleep in. During the weekends you know YOU CAN DO WHATEVER you want and aren't obligated to get up, and so you choose to get up. Plus on the weekends, the sooner you get up, the longer your day will be and the more you will enjoy the weekend before reality comes back on Monday demanding you once again to get up!!
