You can't change the world , you can change yourself for sure !
Best thing would be to leave this to people itself . One who feel like going for Discos & Grand Parties should go & Rest just opt out !
What I would do is to arrange a small level party with less fuss & more of relatives , close friends !
We can play interactive games which create a bond between our loved ones who have gone a little far from us over the time .
We can just have a dinner of our choice Or simply do the things we like !
I personally feel not to go to Discos / Hotels on 31st ! But if I dislike it I should find my way .
Why should I create trouble for me by fighting in Government to get the New Year Parties Banned !

Banning will not stop it. It will remain in paper but the parties will go on illegally. The best thing is to regulate them, but strictly.

All Kind of Parties should be banned for Mullas, Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal etc.

no doubt we must enjoy new year and must have adecent party.before that let us think for sometime about the orphanages, old age home, disabled person's institutionsetc.we are the only friends & relatives to them.though we are not able to help them throughout the year let us do something atleast on these auspicious occassions.atleast we should share our greetings with them.this we should have as a principle every year.atleast for their happiness we must celebrate the new year.

No it shouldn't be banned....but it's not mandatory to attend either so, if you don't like it, don't go...
