I'm currently having this hair problem in which the case is I'm having less hair than I used to. My hair line is getting wider and there are areas around my head which I feel have less hair compared to the other areas. This is very disturbing for me because I'm only thirteen. I went to consult with a doctor and she examined me. She said that my case is quite rare for people my age and told me that it could be because of stress or a deficient diet. Both are quite true as I had exams several months ago and I'm a vegan. Now, I've been taking nutritional pills and changing my diet. However, my hair is still in the same condition. Why is this so? It's been a month already and it's still the same. How long does it take for my hair to show improvements? Plus, can anyone give me tips on how to not become stressed so easily? Thanks.

Hello. I would say that diet and stress play a major role in hair loss. It is a good thing you are begining to change your diet and it may seem long, but I heard that it takes 3 months at least to see results. You must be patient but I am sure it will be worth the wait once you begin to see results. I saw an info-mercial the other day and wrote it down (in case my brother would be interested). It is called Scalp Med and you can go to their website for more information. It is a product used for thining hair. Speak to your doctor about this. As for the stress part, I wish I could help you :o( I am currently looking for a solution myself. The only thing I do which sometimes and minimally helps is when something comes up, right away I listen to my favorite music. Concentrate on the lyrics and it should make you relax. It is my own way of meditation :o)

Best of luck and hope it all works out for you.

Bye :o)

i too is experiencing hair loss due to stress. what i do is excercise in the morning and eat right. excercise is one way of reducing stress. well for now i taught myself to not be bothered by problems anymore. i listen to them but i dont take them seriously like before. i mean change ur point of view like when before u take your problem seriously... it will just take time to do that. take it step by step and the best thing is pray a lot to overcome whatever problems that can stress u. and SMILE

Make sure that you keep taking your vitamins. your hair didn't thin out overnight so it will take time for it to fill in. Look at the activities that you are involved in to take out some of the stress.

It took longer than a month for your baldness to start and will take several months to be corrected .Please be patient and continue with your pills and change your diet if the doctor recommends you to do so.
