Maybe they don't want to reproduce. It doesn't' make them ungrateful. Maybe their parents are putting too much pressure on them and they don't want to mirror that with their own children.

Maybe there is a reason behind y they are not reproducing. Maybe bullying or wotever. When a child gets bullied they need to let off steam and maybe the steam ur child is leeting off seems to be not producing. Maybe u need 2 sit down with ur child or try and get closer so that ur child can trust u alot more.

Having children was the right thing for you; doesn't mean it's the right thing for your child!
I thought that being a parent meant unconditional love.... it certainly does for me and mine.
They're 22 and 25, and grandchildren one day would be great. But if they don't choose to have children in this increasing crowded and inhospitable world, that is their choice.
We bring our children up then we let them fly the nest to make their own minds up about the important things in life and how they live it.
But I must say, are you sure you're not my mother as she had a similar point of view!!!!!!!!!!!!

because the British style of socialism has allowed mothers and fathers to opt for out of their household initiatives, there are far too many youngsters being presented up with no Father discern. also the youngsters themselves continuously have excuses made for his or her moves, till teens recognize that they're going to be held to blame, they're going to keep on behaving like savage brutes. i'm afraid till we go back to the conception of "enable the punishment more beneficial healthy the crime" we are able to proceed to work out our streets infested with the scum element. And for some reason, maximum stabbings look to contain black lads, in my opinion i do not imagine that has some thing to do with a race element, more beneficial a social/cultural vast difference.

people say their OWN children make their lives worth living, not their GRANDCHILDREN.

I never want kids and I have felt this way ever since I can remember. I am aware that some people cant understand that, but in my eyes its them with the problem, not me!

My children do not make my life worth living..If i am not happy...then obviously they are not happy. I have to be wonderful for myself..happy first and foremost... then they are happy and we are one big happy family...mosy of the time..lol...As for YOUR child...maybe he or she just does not want kids...They are very time consuming and you need to be totally ready when they come. Maybe in time he/she will want one but do not fret about it....It's more money in there pocket and yours as a grandparent.

i am sorry that your child doesn't want to have children. now might not be the right time. i love my children and they are the reason i am who i am. the love of a parent should always be unconditional with no exceptions. you should want what your child wants. happiness is key.

You "ungrateful" child is more adult than you seem to be. IF unready or unwilling to parent a child, the idea of bringing one into the world to satisfy ANY other person's desires would be irresponsible.

Your desire to control your adult child is a symptom of the possibility that you Don't see him/her as an adult, but rather as an unruly child you seek to control.

Either way, the adult child has control of this decision.

Nobody is obligated to have children. It's a free choice we all have. Many have that choice taken away from them through infertility, others choose not to have children. Others have 10 children!

If a person decides not to have children, it is nobody's business but theirs.
