I have found that when pursuing friendships whether they are of a romantic nature or not that it is important to first look at ones self. What do you do in your free time? Do you belong to any groups or organizations? Do you have a chance to go out and socialize at all?
I went a year and a half without anyone special in my life. At first I searched desperately on the net and in bars but met no one. When I stopped looking for a man and started working on finding ways to be happy without one is when I finally found one.
The road is bumpy and might be long but in the end you'll have a mate your really happy with and not one you settled for.

You have an advantage if you have car/bikes...
but that isnt included in your personality
how you behave, how you carry your self, how much confiidence you possess and most important HOW YOU LOOK !

Good question...
I'm new to the area where I live.. and it is in a very bad part of town.. and I find it VERY hard to make decent friends... no.. I'm not looking down on others.. but about the only ones here are druggies and pushers.. NOT the sort that I need to hang with... and I'm very shy.... I've tried to find PLACES to go to... but I dunno. What is your situation?
