What is the general feeling about Berlusconi among the Italian population now?

At the last elections his coalition got the 49,9% of votes.
Italy is still a splitted country but my opinion is that after a few months of government by Prodi ( and in particular after the recent Financial Act) not so few people are regretting having supported him and mostly wouldn't vote Prodi any longer.

50% hate him 50% believe he's able to do something else than make money(..for himself...)...
people likes hearing that they won't pay tax for the rest of their lives,he say this and people love him... than, who understand that's it's impossible( he was president for 5 years and we still pay tax even more before him..) thinks he's a clown...

I'm Italian,I voted for him and I'm still proud of it!
his party "Forza Italia" is the biggest in Italy... generally he has the respect of most the italians exept that from no-globals!
