Not from the creator but from your father the devil. "You are of [your] father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own [nature], for he is a liar and the father of lies. but He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not hear them, because you are not of God." You most be born again, so you too can be call a child of God.

No, we inherited our sin nature from the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. When they sinned by eating of the forbidden tree, sin entered the world (see Genesis 3). Since then, every man and woman has been born with a sin nature. God is Holy; that means He is absolutely perfect, pure, and sinless.
No, God doesn't have hands or eyes or feet; God is a spiritual being without form or body, and He is far greater than any physical being. Sometimes the Bible speaks about God's hands or eyes, but when it does, it is using symbolic language to convey some truth about His activity: "For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him" (2 Chronicles 16:9).

When the Bible says God created the human race in His image, it means that God put His character or imprint on our souls or spirits. We aren't God—but we are like Him (although limited). Because of this, we have the ability to love, and to know right from wrong. Because we bear God's image, we are different from the animals, and all human life is sacred.

The tragedy is that God's image within us has been defaced and twisted by sin (although not destroyed). But Christ came to make us whole, and someday "we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:2). In the meantime, make it your goal to grow closer to Christ and serve Him with all of your life.

NO! we were originally created in the image of God, but the effects of centuries of the sin nature have taken their toll on human nature. We are fallen creatures; fallen away from the original image, still retaining some of it, but just like a cracked mirror we now distort the image of God in our sinful state. The only cure is Jesus who demonstrated God as a human being and provided a way back to the Father by dying in our place for our sins on the cross and then resurrecting.

Don’t you find it odd that no priest or clergyman or pastor have answered this question for you? And no one is using Gods word to answer it The Bible clearly has all the answers, Pray, STUDY THE BIBLE and you will find answers. Sin Originated with Satan not God Satan Chose to do wrong he was also created in Gods image as a perfect spirit creature and had the free will to chose to do wrong He did so willfully But he unlike man did not inherit sinfulness He is the originator of sin Man also has a choice James1:13 14

We were made in the image of God. Being made in his image means that we have every basic body part that he has. Head, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, arms, and legs. It also does mean that we have similar characteristics that he has. However the evils that you spoke of are not of God, but are inhereited through the flesh, from the day that Adam fell, and all man because carnal, devlish, and sensual by nature.
Paul described the nature of the flesh saying,
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
(Galatians 5:19-21)
When Adam and Eve partook of the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, two deaths entered the world, Spiritual and Temporal death. Spiritual death classifying a separation from God and man through sin. Temporal death pertaining to the separation of body and spirit.
A perfect God cannot create evil. However an imperfect human being can create evil.
Isaiah speaking of the thoughts and ways of the Lord taught,
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
(Isaiah 55:8-9)

I believe that God makes it possible for us to have free will and decide on what course our life will take. It is up to us, so if we happen to murder someone or rape someone then that is a decision that an individual makes with the resources they have at that moment. A woman murdering a man that is attacking her family on a deserted country road is a far cry from a pedophile murdering a child to cover his tracks. I believe that our higher power guides us when we consciously choose to accept that we are not in control but we have to put in the effort. And if we act in ways that are not positive then we are very far from our higher power and not quite as able to hear what they are whispering to us to do to keep us out of the dark. At least these are my beliefs.

Nope, there is no sin in God.

Image or likeness but not attributes.

Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

image H6754 צלם
tselem tseh'-lem
From an unused root meaning to shade; a phantom, that is, (figuratively) illusion, resemblance; hence a representative figure, especially an idol: - image, vain shew.

likeness H1823 דּמוּת
demûth dem-ooth'
From H1819; resemblance; concretely model, shape; adverbially like: - fashion, like (-ness, as), manner, similitude.

The word God 'ĕlôhîym in Hebrew means "God and the angels".

This question is way too big for a simplistic one line answer.

These things that you have listed are the result of man recreating God in mans image, not the other way around.

God allows these types of things because they can teach us what love is.

If one is to truly understand everything that love is they must also know everything that love is not. This is why we are here, to perfect the love that we are. God did not want robots, She wanted us to learn the value of a loving response by our own methods. In our own time.

This is why God put some of the people in your life that were there. Some of them made it difficult to love them didn't they?

This difficulty is a testament to your level of spiritual understanding. No lesson is given that the student is not ready to learn.

You must find a way in your heart to love all of these people God was sent to assist you with your understandings.

The universe seems quite pleased with your efforts.

Love and blessings Don

Bible describes God as a Spirit. He is a living and active divine person who is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, truth, and love. He can enjoy fellowship with persons He created in His own image and redeemed by His grace, and He always acts in harmony with His perfect nature.

These are not the qualities that you described. Instead man learned these traits after eating the fruit in the garden. Shortly there after we read about the first murder in history.

hey sandra,

it's obvious that "HE" made us all and we have inherited His qualities. But it's also the fact that "HE NEVER DOES ANYTHING WRONG"........... HE IS THE PERFECT ONE.

but the things u r talking about like murder, lies, rape etc.... these are just the fallacies of "man". Though man has inherited good qualities from the Almighty but sometimes, circumstances and situations lead "man" to a different pathway whr people lose their control over thr "good soul" and when thr "bad soul" overpowers them, they commit such offences...............

everyone, when born, was innocent ........... that's the only reason they say, "children are yet another form of GOD"..... but as they grow old, their lives, their motives and other factors drive them toward their ultimate destination.
