I commonly hear that being Atheist means you are an Angry, Un-happy, UN fulfilled person. How many Atheists agree? I can't speak for others but I live a great life. I have an awesome relationship, I am Successful and I don't feel emptiness, Infact I feel like I am more educated then I was a few years ago and that makes me feel even better. So how about the rest of you? Do you feel like you fit into the Stereotype of being an angry hateful person?

Hey "DUMB DUMB" I think your name sums you up perfectly...that was the stupidist Argument I think I have ever heard. We didn't give yourselves the Name Atheists...Stupid Christians like you did. We don't have a term for people who Don't believe in Astrology...or Mythology. or people who don't believe in Santa....We just use it as a lable...I should have worded it different. Instead we should be called...Logical thinkers with a sound and rational mind.

Happy and fulfilling? Yup. I'm healthy, well-educated, same fulfilling job for 20 years, international travel, great hobbies, music, girlfriend.
I can't help but notice a steady stream of believers on Y!A posting questions and answers about their eagerness for the world to end, in most cases complete with long lists of their complaints about how terrible the world is. It's clear that it's more generally believers who are angry, unhappy, and unfulfilled.
I've got a Masters degree in philosophy from a REAL college. Dumb-dumb, you should demand a tuition refund from whatever diploma mill you threw your money away on.

i do. not as fulfilling as id like but so far so good.
...ask me this question after i get out of film school...
im not hateful at all. as a matter of fact i think if i were religions (and considering 9/11) i might actually be hateful of someone then. those someones being of middle eastern descent.
of course im not religious so i dont hold those feelings.
i lead a happy life. i challenge myself. id say im pretty damn happy. but theres always room for improvement. especially the personal kind.

Most atheists I know are happy and fulfilled, myself included.
As a group though, I know of no more lonesome, conniving, cheating back-stabbers than christians.
They make me SO happy I turned away from that childish cult when I was 16. I only wish I could have done it sooner...

Your definition of an atheist is way off the mark. Many men and women live fine fulfilled lives without religion interfering.

My life is awesome! I hate the term Atheist! I don't think we should use it. The most insecure people I know are very religious. Look at Mexican Catholics...Some of the most insecure people I know...No offense but if they see the Virgin Mary in a piece of toast they cry for months....now that is Insanity.

Total rubbish. I lead a very full and happy life. I sub-aqua dive and instruct, I coach rugby, I grow all my own vegetables, I reasonably successful at work to the extent that I earn a good salary without having to slave away.
What I don't have to do is blame my succeses and failures on anything else. It is ALL down to me - win or lose.

I live a good life. I wouldn't say I'm "omg so joyful," but I am a happy person. I have no hate in my heart. In fact, ever since I doubted my faith my empathy and sympathy for other human beings and animals has grown.

All of us live happy and fullfilling lives. We don't have to worry about some invisible dude in the sky punishing us for being human.
