do male persian cats personality change after u get the surgery to stop them from getting a female pregnant?

They seem to become more affectionate to the owner. If they are neutered when they are young, they don't mark their territory around the house like other male cats. They are still playful and fun, but they lose alot of bad habits.

I have two cats (male and female) and they both had the surgery. My female cat became a little fat after the surgery and her personality did change a little bit. My male cat did not change one bit and I do believe he is crazier than before!

They say this kind of surgery changes the animal but, I think it all depends on the animal.

Personality does NOT change after neutering. Personality is waht it is, it's waht the cat is born with..Temeprament changes due to maturity, socialization and other factors but personality remains the same.

Also pets do NOT become overweight because of altering, but rather because of too many calories. Since altering takes away hormonal drives the need for extra calories is reduced, therefore the amount fed should be decreased.
Neutering is the best thing you can give your cat.He'll thank you for it if he could. he'll live a longer, happier,healthier, less frustrated life.
