I know a boy called Ken for 3 years. For 2 years he was in a relationship with a girl, (he talked more with me than with her) recently she broke up with him. He started flirting with me. He asked my friend if I have any feelings for him ( we used to like each other before he hooked up with his ex ) We kissed but thats as far as it got this time. We all went to a bar with his friends, his arm was around me and he was talking to his best friend who was sitting near us. Ken told him "Its so great being single! Im free to do all that I want"
Excuse me but I am under his arm..He says he is single INFRONT OF ME! Is he using me? Or does he feels close to me because he knew me for a long time? But he claims that we are strangers, although we know each other for ages - we dont know each other as people. He did already invite me to his house though, and said that it will be cool to introduce me to his parents. He also made plans for us in the summer, to go to a nearby clubbing resort.

You should date around and tell him how wonderful it is for you to be single. You are one crazy biatch for thinking that you have an exclusive relationship with him for just one kiss. Whatever you do, or whatever he does, and however many people you see between the two of you, it doesn't matter if you guys are meant to be together. Eventually, you will end up where you should. Just don't expect too much if you haven't given too much.

Beware!!! First, you said he talked more with you than he did with his own girlfriend. Then you said that he made a comment about being totally free although you were under his arm. And although you had already known each other he claims that you two are strangers. Never mind listening to what he says he's gonna do in the future, listen to what he's already said. I think you should find out how he really feels about you before you allow him to make you a part of his future. Find out if that future is going to be all about him and no good for you. Also, try not involving your friends in it.

What would he be using you for? You haven't had sex with him and you've been friends for quite a while. I agree with the answer that said you shouldn't consider yourself exclusive after one kiss. He just got out of a long term relationship and is probably enjoying his freedom right now. It's doubtful that he is ready to commit to anything deep with you right now, so you should see other people unless you two decide to be exclusive, which should probably be quite awhile so he can figure out what went wrong in his last relationship.
Just have fun and get to know him before you get serious. I think sometimes we focus so much on getting the other person to want us and like us, that we are really not sure if we actually like them. Make sure your needs are being met and don't have sex with him until you are ready and are comfortable with where the relationship is going.

I don't think he's using you, I think he likes you. I think he made that comment to his friend so he wouldn't seem to be still heart broken from breaking up with his girlfriend. I'm assuming his friend he made the comment to was guy, other wise he's full of it.
