Don't get drunk. Bring flowers or candy for the Boss' wife. Don't let wife get drunk. Things should be fine. Don't get drunk.

Vine (maybe this is Zsa Zsa?) or wine as it is commonly known really isn't a good gift for the Boss's dinner party, unless you absolutely know his taste. Many people bring wine expecting it to be served at the dinner; however, that usually isn't proper, as the hostess has already set the menu and the table is already set with the appropriate glasses. A gift is a gift, not something to be devoured at his meal, otherwise you could just bring a vegetable dish, and most wouldn't consider doing that!! Enjoy, Merry Christmas

SInce we never really know what personal habits or struggles someone has, I think its best to avoid bringing wine or champaign. A "hostess" gift is usually best, something you all can enjoy at the gathering. You may bring a very fancy dessert from a well-know bakery. Everyone loves sweets. Flowers are another option, but I think fancy sweets are better. IF they are KNOW to be a household that drinks, bring a fancy wine, spend some $$$ and put it in a wine gift bag, also bring a corkscrew. A week after the gathering, send a thank you note, handwritten, to say what a wonderful time you had. It's classy and will go a long way.

Usually a simple bottle of wine will do unless you know they don't drink or its against their religion. Then your wife could bring his wife a flower arrangement or a food basket. Personally, I'm from Venezuela so when giving formal gifts I try to personalise it by giving something typical Venezuelan, such as a book with pictures or a cultural souvenir, and they appreciate it!

A bottle of premium tequila and a few key limes. Just keep your wits about you. Good tequila goes down as smoothly as water.

I agree with Garland, wine, chocolates, flowers, or cookies. I would go with the wine in a beautiful gift bag.

Take... his remote, some of the silverware, drink up his best scotch, and make sure his wife thinks about you that night!

... or did you mean what should you bring?

Bring a Naked Twister Mat, a bottle of Crisco, and a "Guide to Wife-Swapping" manual !
