If I throw a blue stone in a red sea, the stone will become...lost forever, unless of course you jump in after it, search the bottom of the sea and actually find the blue stone you will also discover that it is wet.

the stone will become wet. the name of the river is red sea, it doesn't mean that if you throw something in it will turn into red color.
