What would be the motivation since our earth is like a tiny blue speck of dust and our sun is just one of BILLIONS of stars in just one of BILLIONS of galaxies in the universe? So it's just Good Creator, Bad spirit over a tiny blue planet in a tiny window of time seeing over that human mammals get tested and tormented to see whether they are naughty or nice?

You think there is more to it than just that? Or shall we grow out of our primitive man mystical explanations to complex confusing questions of life?

All gods goddesses were created by us humans. If there were an all powerful god or goddess who by our standards could be called kind and good, they would not have allowed the suffering and misery that has taken place and is still happening on earth. However, There are many scenarios that you could dream up, (just think of all the myths and legends, many of them quite ridiculous) and in any case these sort of ideas are difficult to displace as people are often irrational over religion. If mankind does grow out of their fixation with gods and the like it's going to take a hell of a long time.
It's an interesting topic, but be sceptical of any explanations (especially definitive explanations), there are a lot of people with there own agenda or an axe to grind.

Beleive it or not, there's even less to life. There is no battle for our souls. We are born, live in a society we created, and die. And that's it.

There is no 'meaning' to our existence, we are mearly a product of probability.

The whole school of thought about God, Meaning to Life, Fairies....are all inventions to make us feel like we're not alone in this blue speck floating around in the universe.

But, if you need something to drive you (or console you), keep in mind that we do live in a twisted world and you do need to live here for a while...so make the most of it.

Note to everyone: Don't give me a thumbs down just because you don't want to even consider what I'm saying.

You sound a bit stressed. Maybe you should come over to my beach, take off your clothes, come for a swim and then enjoy a red wine and a steak while we discuss the situation. I make a wicked greek salad by the way.

No, because that would imply that Satan is equal to God and he's not.

I think it's more God is waiting for us to decide if we will accept Jesus or not. He allows Satan some control, but no Satan is not a worthy opponent. More like a weasly ex-follower out to get revenge. But who will soon be punished. Amen.

There's plenty more out there in the world for humanity to do, and all you have to do is follow the course you want for your life.

I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!

i think there is a big round table somewhere in the heavens with GOD, ALLAH , JESUS , BUDAH and a bunch of others are gathered. they like to watch us do what we do and teach us life lessons in the process.
or maybe they are one being in different 'forms'. kind of like when we are in a jeans mood or a high fashion mood or in a slacks and jacket mood - same person - different outfits to suit our moods. make any sense to you? to anyone but me?
