i'd say lean protein like chicken, fish, and pork... eggs are good, and tofu is a nice change from eating meat. Nuts are also good, so basically, i'd say vary your protein , because Variety is the spice of life!

When I was in the service, I was going heavy on the protiens, not cause I wanted to muscle up, cause I liked it.

I'd make my cheese omlett sandwich, or a braunswieger sandwich (basicly liverwurst, heavy protien) eating heavy meats like red meat about three times a week, chicken to leaven between, pastas for the needed energy to process the protien. I always hated the taste of the protien drinks, no matter how they fix the formula. Like 1% strawberry milk, yuck..

hi...the best thing for protien is "Soybeans". Soybeans has 44% protein where as milk has only 12% protein. And if you are vegeterian soybean is the best option. But there is one precaution you have 2 take before taking soybeans. Put soybean in water for a night , and next morning just rinse it and now soybeans are ready to take coz , it has some harmful thing in it , which will remove after putting it in water for the whole night.
Believe me for gym goers "soybean" is a best option.

Bye & Gud luck. ....

Egg has the maximum absorbable protein in it.
Beef and chicken are as good.
If you are a vegetarian then Soya Bean is the best though it has no tryptophan the most essential part of rotein.

I wouldnt worry too much about it, just make sure the proteins you consume are complete: Chicken, turkey, steak, cottage cheese.....be careful with the supplements though. Most of em have a lot of c r a p put in to them which can f u c k up your digestive system.
