The problem is with the skin on my face. I rarely get spots. Maybe 2 or 3 a year, just before my period. My skin can also be quite dry, especially in the winter. Recently it has been exceptionally dry, even though I moisturise twice or three times a day. Recently I've had alternating patches of red spots on my face. Sometimes they're on my chin, other times on my cheek and sometimes my forehead. They fade through the day but new ones appear the next day. Any idea what this could be? Thanks

I don't use soap as it aggrevates my skin and anything else I use has been the same for years because my skin is so fussy. Thought I might mention I also have mild eczema but the patches on my face are not the same as the rest of my body

Not to worry, a help may come your way.
I have two different cases similar to yours, read each and see which matches your situation: (1) PROTOPOR PHYRIA - symptoms: Skin lesions usually fades without scarring or pigmenation. It is non infectious and the cause is unknown.
