When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

Code for, 1) he's definitely attached (like married or seeing other girls behind your back and wants his cake and to eat it too) 2) he doesn't think you're all that even with ur high powered job 3) you're ENABLING him to say such stuff to you to manipulate you into being there whenever he wants 4) he's a loser and wouldnt dream of admitting that to you if he's intimidated by anything good about you

i think your both sending mixed signals to each other do you want him back because you know you can get him or do you want to just be friends you have to decide and make it clear to him if you want to be friends i think its going to be hard for you to be around each other so id leave it for awhile to cool down, obviously he isn't single but i don't think you can mistake what he want from you,also jealousy isnt a nice quality in anyone let alone a man that your not dating so id nip that in the bud,good luck

He doesnt want a relationship with you but he also doesnt want anyone else to have one with you. Move on from him. He doesnt sound very nice. And if he breaks up with, or cheats on, the girl he is with now, he'll probably do the same to you.
