i think its a combination of feelings, and yes its natural to love,,,,,,,its a deep feeling and caring for someone, along with physical attraction to them,,,,,, its accepting them for who they are and treating them with respect, and expecting the same in return,,,,,, its developing a realistic view of them ,,,,faults and all,,,and still feeling strong emotions in your heart for them
