Do you believe that people who believe the same as you are right and those who don't are wrong? If you don't than do you think you are wrong?

It would depend on the subject. On one side of the coin, we have those that believe themselves right about everything. On the other side of the coin, we have those practicing imtellectual equality, even though one might study, and the other does not, the opinions are valued as the same.

So the question arises, if you read an opinion by someone that does not study the subject, do you value it equal to another that has studied the subject?

That's one intellectual danger that many here get into. They see the 'opinions' of people as equal, without the weight of scholarly influence.

So know that there may be some that you might want to gather to a message board, rather than this sterile sort of thing that is Yahoo!Answers. This place can allow you to meet those that earn your respect for their knowledge, where you may invite them on another site and really dig into things.

Just don't insult them, and perhaps you will get some honest answers without all the mindless chaos of what's here.

Yes, most people are apparently following this traditional path.
In fact, reality is much more complicated.
If people say that they believe as we believe, we happily appreciate that consent; but not long after that we realize that no two persons can believe the same way. That is why there are quarrels among various sects and quarrels even among followers of the same denomination, the same family!
So, mature people have to think and rethink to get along with other human fellows in a gradual and mutual understanding - not only in matters concerning religion, but in all other aspects of our life on earth.

Those who believe what I believe, I believe are right. But, those who do not have just as much possibility of actually being right as I do. I do not really know that there are any absolutes. God will have to decide on that one for me. I can only trust in my own faith and let others decide for themselves.

Only ignorant people share this attitude. If you really believe that those who believe what you believe are right, and those who don't are wrong then you are wrong to believe that. I can't believe any one would believe that only what they believe is right. That is just so wrong. Everybody should be able to believe what they want and any body who disagrees is a non believer I believe. And I know this because I know my beliefs are always right.

This is not always the case. However in some instances, u would know for sure that what u believe in is right and u would want others to believe in it as well. We have to let our faith guide us to understand what's right and what's wrong. But we can't judge other people, it's not our job.

Well ya don't! This is going to be a bit hard because the time here is 10.15pm Saturday 16/12/06 - There are precisely nine days before the day of tolerance arrives (for those celebrating with family of a dysfunctional nature). I believe it is always best to oil one's back when one knowingly steps into anything of a volatile nature.

What I believe is right for me. Right of free speech, right to chose any religion, free of oppression, right for education, medical care, right to live where I chose, equal rights at work. equal rights for women. What could be wrong about that?
If any believe works against all this then yes, I believe I'm right and they are wrong.

No.
Everybody has a right to believe what they found is right for them.
There is only one truth though, showing it to others , is our task.
If one sees what one perceives as wrong, one should speak, but one cannot force change upon others.
