I don't think we should allow society to dictate age restrictions in relationships. There is a 21 year age gap between my boyfriend and I (I'm 27). I have never been happier in my life. Just like with any relationship, it needs to have the essentials like trust, understanding, communication, interests, goals, etc. If those elements are in place, then nothing else matters. Love is the greatest feeling in the world, and age shouldn't stop anyone from experiencing it.

I think that once you are over twenty-ish, it doesn't really matter(as long as your partners are over 20-ish too).

you can't do anything about who you find attractive, or connect with, or even fall in love with. Age is really just how long your body has been on the planet, there are alot of people who are in their 50's, alot less responsible than those in their 20's.

Personally, I don't think it's an issue, and I don't think we should judge either, though it's really hard not too!

So for me, age isn't a problem, a connection is more important than their date of birth.

i don' think someone can answer this question ... its about feelings and there never is a formula u hold on
maybe there is a bigger gap between 20's and 30's but after the 30 age there is no much of difference

Judging from this page I am kind of surprised how women tend to like older men. It wouldn't be that big of an issue with me as long as we get along with each other. The trouble with men that are older and single lets say 40's is that we tend to be set in our ways. Which can be good and bad depending on your expectations. I think it is easier for an older male to be with a younger female than the opposite.

Age doesn`t with responsible people enter the equation, age is just a number, if two people are mature enough to know the difference between right & wrong then I do not see a problem.

well to date- I am 31(today in fact YAY!) I have been with one 11 years my minor and the oldest was 31 years my elder. And the one 31 yrs my elder was definitely the biggest gap I've ever been with.(in my defense she claimed to be 13 yrs younger than she was. And looked the part so I bought it)

10 years my junior if he took care of himself (moderate alcohol-tobacco-drug use); 15-20 years my junior if he didn't care for primping himself but he had other qualities I loved. Anyway, I observed men everywhere in their 30's and 80% of them look well into their 40s, 50s so it would have us even in looks by the time I was say 50. I mean look at recent pics of older women with their 'younger' husbands Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn!! Susan Saradon and Tim Robbins!! Enough said on AGE DIFFERENCE.

I am 44 and i have dated as young as 24 and as old as 50. It's not the age that matters it's the person within.
