It is for God to judge people and atheist have a point in that so many Christians talk the talk but do not walk the walk God says Love everyone and as we judge others so shall he judge us I don't like when atheist put me down for my beliefs as I don't try to force mine on them( but I don't dislike them) The best way to lead a person to God is to lead by example God bless all

Believe me perfect epitome of what I was speaking of you have a true Christian mind and heart I was broght up in the church went left, went back, and left again because of people in the church judging people who came to worship God.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matt. vii 21.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? . . . and in thy name done many wonderful works? But then will I profess unto them, I never knew you depart from me, ye that work iniquity.... Matt. vii 22, 23.
Whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock.... But every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. Matt. vii 24, 26.

but birdflies in the book of Luke
6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. "As ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise."
The Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated.
6:32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
6:33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
6:34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
"Be ... merciful, as your Father also is merciful."
6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you

Yes I totally agree with you, God does not want anyone to be forced into a relationship with Him, it has to be a free will choice of every human being, and we have to admit the disastrous effect of forced conversions in the church`s history, and try to learn from those past mistakes.
I too believe that it is better to evangelize by good example and constantly bashing Atheists is detrimental and produces only animosity.

Love them and pray for them you can not feed sheep who do not want to be fed it just pushes them further and further away from God. We are suppose to live our lives in such a way that has someone to ask how can they be saved...
Matt 7:1-6
1 {Don't Condemn Others--} "Stop judging others, and you will not be judged.
2 For others will treat you as you treat them. Whatever measure you use in judging others, it will be used to measure how you are judged.
3 And why worry about a speck in your friend's eye when you have a log in your own?
4 How can you think of saying, 'Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the log in your own eye?
5 Hypocrite! First get rid of the log from your own eye; then perhaps you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye.
6 "Don't give what is holy to unholy people. Don't give pearls to swine! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.
(NLT)
WHAT IS THERE NOT TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS SCRIPTURE?????

I think it is time for people to get off this stuff about we are not to Judge. You don't even know what those verses mean, If we are not to judge then why does the Bible say, You will know them by their Fruits, You mean to tell me that a person (EXAMPLE) is an apple Tree & I eat a fruit off it, & it taste like lemons, Will I have the right to say, stay away from that tree, It is not bearing the kind of fruits it is suppossed to, Now to those who wants to say we can not Judge, I have many verses, But this is a good one Go to1st Cor. 6:1-7 But read verse 3. Know ye not that the Saints shall Judge even angels, let alone People.

You really need to work a bit more on your grammar and sentence structure, like the use of periods for example.
If by "embracing" atheists you mean to treat them with love and respect, then yes. But it is folly not to share with them message of the Gospel and talk about the existence of God. If you really love someone, you don't want to see them hurting, yes?
Some will say I'm not being "tolerant" of others. I can "tolerate" a whole lot, like for example I could tolerate someone punching my arm every time I saw them, but that doesn't mean I have to LIKE it, nor does it mean I have to APPROVE of it.

I don't think atheists -want- to be embraced, in all fairness. When Christians try and embrace an atheist, it's more like a sweaty wrestler applying a bearhug on his opponent.

We should try to teach them the Gospel, the good news of the Lord.
I do not force my faith upon anyone, but I find that atheists tend to force theirs on me.

*sniffsniff* I smell Religious bullcrap!
Athiests, such as myself, most likely don't want to be embraced by a brainwashed zombie, but then again, I am only speaking for myself. BTW, people, DROP THE RELIGION!!!! It gives you another day off on the weekends to do all the fun stuff that your ancient and now backwards thinking rules say that you can't do!
