We use a curriculum, K12, it is used in numerous states' digital faculties. We use it as self reliant homeschoolers, no longer as part of a public college. There are execs and cons to each, and it fairly relies upon on your kin dynamic, the picture of different HS curricula do. once you've insecurities about being part of a authorities funded public college (which isn't "authentic/organic" homeschooling, yet very similar), then i'd not connect in the digital college. i beg you to affix a Yahoo team for the college/curriculum you're pondering. there are a kind of K12 forums that are for both digital purchasers and self reliant purchasers. all of us study from one yet another and income large perception into the VA vs. self reliant concern. i don't have the alternative of a state-huge K12 digital Academy in the state i'm in now, yet I had to selections in my former state. for most motives we keen to proceed the self reliant route at the same time as the VA's grew to grow to be accessible. *** extra after your added counsel... The K12 digital faculties I helped with in my former state (doing determine trainings about the curriculum) did not educate to the try. they only used the K12 curriculum as is, because it meets or exceeds each state's criteria. In some states, such issues as PE or state historic previous is extra to the curriculum to regulate to that state's criteria.
