this is a nice mushroom recipe that i like: trim the mushrooms and remove stalk and put them in oven proof dish with the hollow side up. heat some olive oil in a pan then add chopped onion still softened then add chopped garlic , sage, parsley, chopped waknuts and season. spoon them into mushrooms then top with goat cheeseand half a walnut and put on oven for 15-20 min until mushroom tender. if u like u can also top the mushroom with bacon..
enjoy and bon apetite

Large Flat mushrooms grilled with a slice of cheese on top is devine!
Fry closed cup mushrooms with spring onion, garlic and seasoning until done! Then add a squeeze of fresh lemon and a some greek yogurt! This we have with either fresh pasta, or on a baked potato.

I like them with pasta. Chop an onion and gently fry until opaque, then add sliced mushrooms. (If not vegetarian grill some bacon and chop into pieces and mix into onions and mushrooms) Whilst cooking above boil some water and cook some pasta (any type is fine). Meanwhile add some creme fraiche to the onions and mushroom mixture and heat through gently so is hot. Drain pasta and mix into mixture.

Serve with green salad and garlic bread.

Stuffed mushrooms always go down well as a starter in my household.....

This link has a recipe, although I sometimes like to use sausagemeat for the stuffing.
