Every time I swallow or yawn my ears make sounds like a bone cracking. I don't feel any fullness in the ear and there's no pain and they don't feel like I need to pop them... in fact its just the same as normal and my hearing's fine but this cracking is driving me crazy. I try to pop them by holding my nose and blowing but they are impossible to pop all the way and after a lot of hard work they just click and go all echoey... the sound like when you need to pop your ears!! They will never go any further. The doctor gave me Sudafed decongestents and they don't seem to work. I have also had tinnitus for a year but I don't know if this is related as I suffered from that long before I heard this cracking noise. If anyone has any answers thatt would be great thank you.

You may just need your ears syringed clean (they just use water to flush out any excess wax). See if your doctor will do that for you (they should, most docs do). If that doesn't achieve anything and your doctor can't think of anything else, get a referral to an ear, nose & throat specialist.
